With professional selling pertaining to every industry, all students would benefit from a sales program. Built around both the curricular and extra curricular, students get to practice what they learned in class to gain experience.
As a Clinical Professor in UF's Warrington College of Business, Dr. Tufts teaches classes in marketing, sales and entrepreneurship at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. He as previously taught classes in personal finance and real estate and has supervised both Honor theses and DBA Dissertations.
As a Faculty Advisor in UF's Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Dr. Tufts assists emerging entrepreneurs as they develop their business plans. Additionally, he advises the leaders of various student groups, such as the American Marketing Association, as they grow and learn.
In service to the University of Florida and the Warrington College of Business, Dr. Tufts serves on the UF Faculty Senate, the UF President's Title IX Committee for Intercollegiate Athletics and the WCB MBA Committee. Previously, he served on the WCB Undergraduate Curriculum Committee, the Dean's Undergraduate Task Force and several Faculty Search Committees.
